Reggie Hailey

Reggie Hailey was born in the “Paradise of the Pacific,” Honolulu, the capital as well as the most populous community of the State of Hawaii,  in 1958. This was a tumultuous year before the annexation of Hawaii as the 50th state of the United States. Reggie and his family was stationed in San Diego at the age of 4. He was a star athlete and a good student. After graduating in 1977 from Oceanside High School Reggie attended Palomar College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. To further his thirst for knowledge and search for his true calling, Reggie attended San Diego State University. Reggie obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics/Business and African-American Studies. As a student at San Diego State, Reggie worked as the” House Manager,” a manager for Aztec Events. He played an integral part of the organization, coordinating and overseeing the concert and event productions, from technical, security, networking, and marketing. Due to his involvement in a wide variety of roles and duties, he found his niche; he discovered that he had a great talent in multi-media productions from photography, video, computer, printed books, bill boards, CD and DVD productions and distribution. It would not be until after he graduated with a Masters Degree in Counseling Education in San Diego State that he started his entrepreneurial business career. Although, he believed counseling could be a good career move, Reggie knew this was not the career path he wanted to pursue. He was “too sensitive” for the position for he believed in giving completely and being open, however, that was not the protocol of a counseling professional. Thus, came a new venture, his own business.

In 1985 he launched his business, New Image Unlimited. His company specialized in silk screening, pre and post-production, editing, still photography, videography and much more. Reggie is not only technically talented he is also artistically gifted. He has a beautiful talent of capturing people’s essence in still photography and the inner beauty of a human being through film. In 2002, Reggie was introduced to personal growth and entrepreneurial business seminars. Through the lens, he saw more than a production or a program. He witnessed people’s transformations. Thereafter, he attended the program in Philadelphia, PA under the promotion of Nate Ross. It was in this event that formed a kinship and friendship with Nate and he became a logistics staff of the program. For several years he was the still photographer, and in charge of video and music of the program. Reggie is a successful entrepreneur and a noble and respected family man.

He is a father to his 5 children (2 girls and 3 boys ranging from 9 to 22 years old). He is well respected, revered and plays an active role in mentoring local youth through community outreach. He is a great role model to the young boys in his urban neighborhood. Reggie has been married to his wife, his college sweetheart, for 28 years. In his Leisure he enjoys playing basketball, and of course, he enjoys working and playing with computers, and spending time with his family. Today, he is our “Modern Scribe” who utilizes our current technology through Internet, DVDs, print etc. capturing life’s beauty and essence.
