James Cohee

Born in 1966, in Richmond, IN, and relocating to Tampa FL in 1968, James grew up in a lower middle class family of 6 children as the eldest of four brothers. James learned at an early age the sacrifice and demands of business ownership from his father and mother, as they struggled to succeed in business and support their family.

James moved back to Indiana in 1990 where he began his own business in automobile sales and also attended Ivy Tech, working towards his computer science degree. Successful in business and family life, James began seeking more opportunities to help those in need. Attending I.U. in 1999 to obtain his political science degree, James also began assisting in soup kitchens and his church youth program.

Professionally, James is currently serving as Integrated Facilities Manager on the ACE American Insurance account in Richmond, Indiana. His responsibilities comprise of managing all aspects of the ACE Group property in Richmond, Indiana including Asset Management, Operations, Administration, Finance, Project Management, Business Resumption and Continuity Planning, Management Interaction, and Client Relations. He is also responsible for assisting with the operations and team development on the ACE portfolio of properties managed by Jones Lang LaSalle.

Attending the Choices program in 2010 was an eye-opening event for James. The program had such an impact on him personally and professionally he made a choice to be part of the team to support the building and expansion of the Choices Program.
